Laura Wilson

Laura has worked as a program director and developed education and curriculum for multiple international brands in the fitness industry.  For the last three years she has worked as the Global Director of Small Group and Personal Training for Power Plate.

She has presented at IDEA, IHRSA, CanFit and Club Industry over the past 15 years and has written multiple accredited programs including training and education for KettleWorX, HIGHX, LifelineUSA, and Les Mills. She has recruited and trained master trainer teams across several continents and launched programming internationally and nationally in this process.

Her experience as an international trainer and presenter as well as a club manager and club owner, has given her insight into both sides of the industry.  Her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Purdue University has allowed her to develop both freestyle programming and pre-choreography, as well as design and structure fitness programming at the commercial fitness level.

Using the science behind the Power Plate and principles of the FAI, her focus has turned to the active aging market, creating programming that addresses brain, bone, and balance elements in each workout.
